back from pittsburgh, pa. visited Fallingwater
which was pretty, but under construction. also went to a Pirates
game where i hugged the Pirate Parrot and ate a Primantis.
i brought along The Corrections to read and these cds to listen
to: the new Wilco wich my friend Mark burned for me when it was
being streamed on wilcoweb, Dusty Springfield - Love Songs, Nico
- Chelsea Girl, Beulah - The Coast is Never Clear, two mixes, Neu!

2, The Royal Tenenbaums soundtrack, Super Furry Animals - Rings
Around The World, The Very Best of Jackie Wilso and the new Pulp.
I also brought The Ultimate Otis Redding and Clinic's Internal Wrangler,
but didn't listen to either.

my
cd burner just stopped working. at this very moment, i'm having
a 1-on-1 chat with an iomega customer service rep online for the
2nd time in a week. so far, no dice.
good things i heard today: 14 iced bears, yo la tengo covering the
feelies' "raised eyebrows" and "meet the mets." bad things i heard
today: giants 5, mets 1.

ok, that nets/pacers game the other night was SICK. the last time
i had a sports heart attack was probably during the mets 1999 post-season.
went to the yankees/mariners game last night - hadn't been to that
stadium in a few years. chris and i ate the following (combined):
2 hot dogs, chicken fingers and french fries, 2 hot chocolates and
4 bud lights. oh boy! the mariners won (and i cheered with my inner
voice for fear of getting beer thrown on me).

last night i was set to watch 7th Heaven, but then the rev. got
all up in matt's face about premarital sex that i had to shut it
off. thank goodness the gilmore girls is on tonight. i think i say
that every tuesday. my sinuses are killing me.
