i did it!
today i am 30 years old. i made it! some of the things i did in my last hours as a 20-something included eating too much ice cream and impersonating a dancing natalie merchant. dmr and i have been ice cream maniacs the last couple days, but i think we reached our fill last night. he was also not sure whether to laugh or cry at my dance moves.
a little while ago, my father called me up and told me to call my mother to thank her for giving birth to me. i told him i was officially an ajuma (aka, korean old lady), which he interpreted as me being pregnant, which is wishful thinking on his part.

what does that mean? the pressure is off to sing 10,000 maniacs songs at top volume?
You are the crappest 30+ ever, DMR. It means we can grunt without shame when getting out of chairs, we can wear slippers in daylight even if it isn't the weekend, we can be publicly disturbed by teenage dress mores, we can stop finding the fact that there are police officers and pro athletes younger than us amazing, etc, etc.
