her beautiful expression makes this an excellent performance
i worry about mo kin. does she get beaten if she hits a wrong note? does she have enough food to eat? is she really happy? does her mother or teacher pull her hair out really hard if she skips practice? who is she? where did she learn this? what is she doing right now? does she have a lot of friends at school? does she have a pet? she is so talented. i need to save this girl from the dear leader.

i am completely speechless. that video was made in 2003. imagine how good she is now.
I wish we could get her over here to play someone's birthday party. Do you think she would charge more than Mr. Met?
I am so fascinated by this. If I weren't on my way out the door to meet Balgavy, I would probably be watching it over and over again for at least the next hour.
yeah, i just discovered this as well and i'm completely transfixed.
Sorry, I don't mean to spoil it all for you, but little mo kin is a creation of Lucasfilm's Industrial Light and Magic. She's a combination of CGI, clever puppetry and Warrick Davis in a "mo kin" suit. I think in one scene you can totally see the zipper. Still, she's way better than Jar Jar!

just too creepy. like a little automaton. of course that may be de rigeur in North Korea.
i have totally been watching this over and over. my favorite part comes about 1/5 of the way in, when little mo mo sweeps the scales, pauses, does a little hop and continues on.
i'm going to find her in north korea and bring her to USA. she and little peanut can be friends.
That's my favorite part too. I love the little pucker of faux-surprise she makes while looking at the camera.
Did you watch the video of the children singing "Grapes of Love," a song about how Kim Jong Il gave them grapes (of love)? Here are some of the lyrics:
Delicious and sweet grapes!
The General sent these grapes of love
They are the same size as huge candy
They are very delicious!
Chewy, chewy, yum, yum, yum!
I am so moving to North Korea. Living there must be like tripping on mushrooms constantly.
I'm not sure if I'm amazed or scared - maybe both.
Wow!
I'd like to talk to her mom and then run really fast with Mo Kin under my arms.
This is cute and yet wrong on so many levels
Hey! Isn't that an "orph instrument" she's playing? Fellow teachers, ya think we can get ours to be like that if we push a little harder?
holy crap...that poor girl...so why is it that there's been nothing from her for 3..count 'em...3 years??????
