there's no crying in baseball, redux

i found this thread on the son of sam website via daniel habib's column today. and now i'm all teary-eyed.

i totally went through about 6 instances yesterday when tears welled up- in my eyes (at work no less). the reality of where i was kicked in enough for me to hold it together, but if they win World Series i don't know that i'll be able to control myself.
